They call me Aunt Bubba, also known as Bether, Bub or Dude.
In my former life, some of you knew me as “Sass, Brass & Bullets”, a somewhat competitive pistol shooter and outdoorswoman. I’m still an outdoorswoman, but I’ve decided to hang up my shooting belt for a while and focus on God, life, love and everything in between.
I’m a Christian, a mother, a sister, a daughter, an aunt to a great collection of nieces and nephews and the occasional blogger.
When I first started this blog several years ago, it was a place I would go to escape from reality every once in a while — a place where I could share my thoughts, parts of my spiritual journey and what I think are words of wisdom (mostly mistakes I’ve made that I want others to learn from).
I started a diary in elementary school that I still have today. It is green and has Holstein cows wearing pink sunglasses. My handwriting was horrible, but it’s so fun to look back at those “Dear Diary” entries and try to look inside the world of my 8-year-old self.
Today, I still keep a diary of some sorts. In this diary or journal, I document stories about the company I’ve kept and the experiences I’ve lived to tell about along the way. I know I don’t know it all, but I’ve learned a lot, and Bubba & Co. is a place where I share a little bit about me.
I hope my stories inspire you.
May they encourage you to do more.
I hope you learn from my mistakes, and I hope they motivate you to admit your own.

I love you.
You’re like a mom to me, I hope you know that.
She is accountable. I know when she’s assigned to a task, she will see it through. #belikeBeth
