Why are you here?

Woman sitting at a laptop tying

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this little corner of the internet we call Bubba & Co.

When I first started writing, I wasn’t trying to build a following or become a professional blogger. I simply wanted a place to share stories. Stories about growing up. Family. Camping trips. Small-town life. Faith. The lessons we learn the hard way. The joy we find in the ordinary. The memories that sneak up on us when we least expect them.

Some posts make you laugh. Others are a little more vulnerable. Some are just observations from everyday life that somehow turn into something bigger by the time I reach the last paragraph.

But here’s what I’ve been wondering…Why do you read what I write?

Is it because a story reminds you of your own childhood? Do you enjoy the humor? The nostalgia? The outdoor adventures? The faith-filled reflections? Maybe you just appreciate taking a break from all the noise for a few minutes.

And while we’re at it…what would you like to see more of?

Would you enjoy more stories from my childhood? Camping and kayaking adventures? Family memories? Life after divorce? Faith and encouragement? Missouri backroads and hidden gems? Funny mishaps? Reflections on getting older? Something completely different?

This blog has always felt more like sitting on the porch with friends than publishing articles for strangers. The conversations we’ve had in the comments, the messages you’ve sent, and the stories you’ve shared with me have become one of my favorite parts of writing.

So today, I’m asking for your help.

Leave me a comment and tell me:

  1. Why do you read Bubba & Co.?
  2. Which post has stuck with you the most?
  3. What would you like to read more of?

I promise I’ll read every single comment.

Thank you for spending a few minutes of your day with me, whether you’ve been here since the beginning or you just stumbled across this little blog yesterday.

I’m grateful you’re here.

Love. Give. Live.
